Abstract
The comparative studies are carried out on the motility of the normal, denervated and aganglionic Thiry-loops of dogs. The records obtained on the isometric contraction reveal that as for the level of the diastolic pressure or the tonicity in the resting state the aganglionic loop is in the highest rank among others, the normal one in the lowest and the denervated one in the intermediate, whereas as for the pressure developed or the tension developed the ranks are reversed. The normal intestine apparentl contracts far more efficiently than the intestine lacking in some of its nervous elements. Keywords
