Continuous Interactional Monitoring in the Neonate

Abstract

A method of continuous automatic monitoring of neonate-environment interaction is reported, and a number of variables which can be studied in this way are described. The use of these variables to study the initial adaptation between neonate and environment in different care-taking situations is Illustrated by preliminary findings.
