Oblique-banded Leaf Roller, a Dewberry Pest in Utah

Abstract
Tiny worms attacking dewberry fruits were reared and identified as Cacoecia rosaceana. Larvae remained small throughout late summer. fall and winter, feeding as leafrollers during the spring. Only 1 generation a year occurred. The dipterous parasite Phoracera erecta, the hymenop-terous parasites Itoplectis atrocoxalis, Glypta simplicipes, Macrocentrus amicroploides, Microdontomerus fumipennis, and the hyperparasite Catolaccus aeneoviridis, were reared from this dewberry pest.
