Abstract
The various effects of digitalis upon the electrocardiogram are reviewed and grouped with regard to their clinical significance. Therapeutic or toxic actions of digitalis seem to depend on as yet poorly understood relationships to potassium metabolism. An insight into this relationship might be gained in the future in view of recent developments in the field of cardiac electrophysiology. Keywords
