Abstract
Using a water maze and a multiple choice problem with escape from water as the incentive the behavior of 2 groups of rats whose diet was deficient in protein was compared to normal groups. The differences were small, but consistently in favor of the controls. Combining the 2 exp. groups gave probable error ratios of 3.26 for trials to learn the maze and 2.68 for trials to learn the multiple choice problem. Keywords
