Abstract
HYPERTENSION associated with unilateral renovascular disease is receiving an increasing amount of attention. The present technics for the diagnosis of unilateral renal disease are excretory urography, retrograde pyelography, isotope renography, renal biopsy, the "Howard" test and its modifications1 2 3 4 and aortography.A simple, atraumatic procedure for unilateral urine sampling would be of great value. The purpose of this paper is to describe a technic whereby one ureter can be obstructed by external compression, thus allowing collection of urine from the opposite kidney by catheterization of the urinary bladder.5 MethodsTechnic of Ureteral OcclusionThe maximal intraureteral pressure at the distal end . . .Keywords
