Abstract
Band contours and band intensities in the Raman spectrum of molten zinc chloride have been examined. Bands not previously detected by photographic techniques have been detected photoelectrically. Their intensities are temperature sensitive. The intensity of the band at 230 cm−1 decreases with the addition of water. A description of the constitution of the melt is proposed. Keywords
