Experimental Determination of the Effect of Hydrostatic Pressure on the Fermi Surface of Copper

Abstract
We have measured the pressure derivatives of five cross-sectional areas of the Fermi surface of copper, using the fluid-He phase-shift method. The results are in excellent agreement with predictions of recent band-structure calculations by Davis, Faulkner, and Joy.Keywords
