Abstract
Severe hypodontia is thought to be caused by hereditary and environmental factors. It has a population incidence of 0.3% in the permanent dentition, being much rarer in the deciduous dentition. The management of patients suffering from this condition is described, including the use of conservative, prosthodontic and orthodontic procedures. Keywords
