Abstract
Rhodomicrobium vannielii, n. sp., a new photoheterotrophic bacterium, is descr. The distinguishing morph. features of this microorganism are reproduction, which is apparently by budding. The possibility of a relationship between Rhodomicrobium and Hyphomicrobium vulgare is discussed. Keywords
