Abstract
Flavins were extracted from tissues with H2O at 80[degree]C. One aliquot of the extract subjected to photolysis yielded lumiflavin which permitted estimation of the total flavin concn. calculated as free riboflavin. Another aliquot was used for paper chromatography and extraction of the separated spots permitted detn. of riboflavin, flavin mononucleotide, and flavin adenine dinucleotide.
