Abstract
A rise in pCO2 [partial pressure of CO2] occurred when erythrocyte [human] were hemolysed by freeze-thaw using solid CO2 and methanol. This was partially corrected by preventing leakage of CO2 into the system. The remaining increment was partially explained by stimulation of the hexose monophosphate shunt when erythrocytes were hemolysed by this technique. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
