Abstract
Thirty adult male and female mink were studied to determine their molting pattern. Molting changes were gradual and each step merged imperceptibly into the next. A plate of 20 drawings illustrates the steps involved in growing and shedding the summer and winter coats. If the individual variation is disregarded, there is no significance between the sexes in the molting pattern or in the time required to complete the different stages. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
