Distribution of Electrons Scattered by Gold

Abstract
The distribution in energy and angle of 20-kev electrons scattered by gold has been measured. The energy resolution is better than 0.1 percent and the angular resolution better than radian. Data are presented for gold of different thickness and degree of crystal orientation and for grazing angle reflection.
