Abstract
Cattle feces containing selected concentrations of monensin (Rumensin®) that ranged from 3.125 to 100 ppm resulted in an LC50 and LC90 of 10.71 and 49.05 ppm, respectively, for the face fly, Musca autumnalis De Geer, and 24.71 and 59.12 ppm, respectively, for the horn fly, Haematobia irritans (L.). A dosage concentration response was seen with puparial weights of both species.
