Observations of the Structure of Radio Sources in the 3C Catalogue--I

Abstract
The Cambridge one-mile radio telescope has been used to map the structure of 82 extended extragalactic radio sources from the 3C catalogue with beamwidths of 80″ arc and 23″ arc at 408 and 1407 MHz respectively. This paper presents contour maps of the sources together with a list giving the position, angular size, flux density and spectral index of each separate component; brief descriptions of possibly related optical objects based upon the Sky Survey prints are also included.
