Studies on an Attenuated Measles-Virus Vaccine

Abstract
IN initial trials, the attenuated measles vaccine was given by subcutaneous injection, but the intact mucous membranes have certain practical and theoretical advantages to recommend them as a route of vaccination. In this study tests were carried out to compare the effectiveness of the subcutaneous route with other routes that might be involved in natural transmission of the disease.
