Abstract
We consider the process . The high-energy behavior of the invariant amplitudes following from the exchange of Regge trajectories allows us to write down three consistent superconvergent sum rules. Five other sum rules, obtained by equating to zero the coefficients of higher powers of , lead to inconsistencies. In the degenerate-mass limit, partial consistency with the theory is obtained.
