Abstract
Tungsten carbide has been studied in the transmission electron microscope. The existence of dislocations with Burgers vectors ⅓〈1123〉 is confirmed. They are found to be superdislocations having unit dislocations of Burgers vectors (⅙)〈2023〉 and (⅙)〈0223〉. Contrast calculations support this conclusion. Dislocation networks were also observed. Keywords
