Spectre microonde et mouvements de rotation interne de l'alcool éthylique

Abstract
— The microwave spectrum of ethyl alcohol CH3CH2OH has been observed in the frequency region 12-47 kMc. The existence of 2 stable rotational isomers has been demonstrated. The barrier to internal rotation about the carbon-carbon single bond is found to be 270 ± 40 cm-1 in the isomer I in which the three heavy atoms and the hydroxyl hydrogen are coplanar.
