Abstract
The anisotropic hyperfine interaction of nitrogen and the ring protons in the lowest triplet state of quinoxaline have been measured in single crystals of perdeuterodurene at temperatures close to 80°K. The spin densities determined from these experiments are ρ n = +0.133 , ρ 2 = +0.088 , ρ 5 = +0.258 ρ 6 = +0.071 , ρ 9 = −0.060 . These results are compared with the experimental results for the quinoxaline negative ion. Keywords
