Abstract
The line scanning method employs selective irradiation of the specimen in switched magnetic field gradients. The rat leg scans were made within 6 h of sacrifice. The NMR line scan image through the upper thigh section of the rat leg [implanted s.c. with MC7 Walker sarcoma] was demonstrated using a representational color scale. This type of scale comes close to giving an actual visual representation of the cross-section and could be useful in certain circumstances, since the image approximates to what one would expect to see in dissection or surgery. This publication has 10 references indexed in Scilit:
