Abstract
The slightly lysine-rich histones have been separated into two distinct subfractions by extraction and chromatographic procedures. These subfractions have been characterized by total and N-terminal amino acid analyses and starch-gel electrophoresis. An extraction method for preparing the very lysine-rich histone from calf thymus, by using perchloric acid, is given. Keywords
