Off-Shell Effects in theO18andF18Shell-Model Spectra

Abstract

The two-particle shell-model spectra of ${}_{}{}^{18}{}_{}{}^{}\mathrm{O}$ and ${}_{}{}^{18}{}_{}{}^{}\mathrm{F}$ are studied using effective interactions obtained from phase-shift-equivalent nucleon-nucleon potentials. The spectra depend significantly on the off-shell behavior of the potentials.
