Abstract
High resolution data (1 : 104) is presented on the behaviour of the thermal conductivity (K) of Gd near the Curie point. The results are analysed in terms of electronic, lattice and bipolar conduction. Previous information on the electrical resistivity (p) and the temperature derivative dp/dT is also used to understand the temperature dependence of K. Detailed reference is made on the experimental method usedKeywords
