Synthesis and transition-metal complexes of new cross-bridged tetraamine ligands

Abstract

New cross-bridged tetraamine ligands (bicyclo[6.6.2],[6.5.2] and [5.5.2] systems ) are synthesized; complexation of Cu^II and Ni^II demonstrate that the ligands coordinate selected metals in a cleft.
