Abstract
• Ten clinical syndromes of defective neuromuscular transmission in infancy and childhood are reviewed. Autoimmune, genetic, infectious, and pharmacologic mechanisms have been implicated. These disorders manifest themselves in a variety of ways including severe respiratory insufficiency. Prompt diagnosis and treatment may be lifesaving. This publication has 31 references indexed in Scilit:
