Abstract
Construction of an all‐Pyrex stopped flow apparatus capable of high vacuum and variable temperature operation is described. The thermostated system is capable of studying reactions from above room temperature to −40°C. The closed system has been used to study the fast reaction of the ammoniated electron with the ammonium ion in liquid ammonia at −35°C.Keywords
