Hermaphroditism in a Dioicous Hepatic

Abstract

A preliminary description of a bisexual individual of Pellia neesiana, a species otherwise strictly dioicous. This bisexual thallus is diploid and self-fertile, producing sporophytes which are presumably tetraploid.
