Abstract
It is suggested that the recent fit by Abarbanel et al. of for elastic scattering at large and to a curve of the electromagnetic form factor raised to fourth power, , corresponds to the -breaking interaction. This is the only non-Regge pole in the strong interaction, which is otherwise entirely described by Regge-trajectory or bootstrap dynamics.
