Abstract
Expansion due to illumination (photoexpansion) and contraction due to heat treatment (``thermal contraction'') of As–Se–(S)–Ge glass films have been observed utilizing the bimetal structures. This property is related to the reversible photodarkening effect of these chalcogenide glass films. Keywords
