Abstract
A variation of Szymanski''s "aktograph" is described, designed for recording activity of rats. Four units record on one kymograph, and sensitivity can be regulated to range from respiration to jumps. The pattern movements from one part of the cage to another (e.g. crawling, walking, staggering, etc.) as well as total activity may be directly ascertained from the record. Keywords
