Abstract
A basal ration for the rapid production of riboflavin deficiency in the dog is described. Growing animals placed upon the basal ration supplemented with synthetic thiamin, nicotinic acid, vit. B6 and a riboflavin-free prep. from liver extract succumbed to the vit. deficiency in 6 to 8 wks. The addition of 400 [gamma] of riboflavin per 100 g. of ration produced normal growth. This publication has 6 references indexed in Scilit:
