Strange-Particle Production in 7.91-BeV/cπ−pInteractions

Abstract

Data on the production of resonances are given. Evidence for a possible ${Y_1}^{*}\mathrm{}\left(3000\right)\mathrm{}$ is found, along with observation of known resonant states. An indication is found for some $K\overline{K}$ decay of a recently reported dipion resonance at 1675 MeV. Cross sections have been calculated for various final states. The two-body final state ${\Lambda }^0{K}^0$ has also been studied.
