Abstract
The transition probability of electrons due to scattering by phonons is derived in Born's approximation. The Wannier representation is used to characterize the displacement potential by a few matrix elements which are determined by the galvanomagnetic effects. Therefore the Boltzmann equation is solved by the new method of Fourier transformation. For additional elastic scattering of electrons by point defects, questions of Matthiessen's and Kohler's rule are discussed by interpolation formulae referring to numerical results. This publication has 14 references indexed in Scilit:
