Abstract
Diffusibility of these ions was measured in vitro using Lavietes'' technic. Mean serum Na and K concns. in 24 normals were 142.5 [plus or minus] 2.0 meq./l. and 4.16 * 0.22 meq./l., respectively. Distribution ratios of K ant Na were 0.943 * and 0.009 and 0.942 * 0.007, respectively. Distribution ratios in 10 patients with electrolyte disturbances did not appear to differ significantly from the normal series. This publication has 14 references indexed in Scilit:
