The Electron Theory of Metals in the Light of New Experimental Data

Abstract

Deviations from Ohm's Law at High Current Densities of 5 × ${10}^6$ amp./${\mathrm{cm}.\mathrm{}}^2$ have been detected in the case of Au and Ag foils, of the order of 1 per cent. Details will be reported elsewhere.
