Dissociative attachment of electrons toN2O

Abstract

Cross sections for the production of ${\mathrm{O}}^{\mathrm{-}}$ from ${\mathrm{N}}_2$O by the process of dissociative electron attachment have been measured for electron-impact energies ranging from 0 to 50 eV. Three new ${\mathrm{O}}^{\mathrm{-}}$ peaks are observed. The present data above 5-eV electron-impact energy differ considerably from the previous measurements.
