Stopping Power of Water Films

Abstract
By a method which has been previously used with polystyrene and acetylene, the stopping powers of water films and water vapor for low-energy alpha particles have been compared. There appears to be no anomaly, the mass stopping powers being equal to within a precision of about 5 percent.Keywords
