Ketoconazole in the treatment of onychomycosis

Abstract

Thirty-four patients with chronic onychomycosis were treated daily with 200 mg of ketoconazole. Thirty-two patients completed the study and were clinically clear with new nail growth in 2 to 12 months, with an average of 6 months.
