Of a large no. of fungi isolated from many sources only one, Fusarium scirpi var. acuminatum, inhibited growth of tubercle bacilli. The crude nitrate was active to a dilution of 1/20 and withstood heating at 100[degree] for 15 min. without loss of activity.
