Abstract
Crystals have been prepared for use on the two‐crystal spectrometer by grinding and etching the cleavage faces. The widths of rocking curves in the (1, −1) position have been investigated for different conditions of the surfaces. The etched crystals have been found to give higher resolving power than the original faces. The improvement is greater at short wave‐lengths than at the longer. This publication has 5 references indexed in Scilit:
