Abstract
In a conventional manner, 2 octadecapeptides corresponding to the entire amino acid sequences of camel .beta.1 and .beta.2-MSH [melanocyte stimulating hormone] were synthesized. Syntehtic peptides exhibited the in vitro MSH activities of 5.1 .times. 109 and 1.1 .times. 109 MSH unit/g, respectively.
