Abstract
Preliminary studies indicate that plasma zinc concentrations, as estimated by atomic absorption spectrophotometry, are reduced in rheumatoid arthritis. A relationship has also been established between metacarpal index of osteoporosis and plasma zinc concentrations in rheumatoid subjects.Keywords
