Thermal Diffusion of Ternary Mixtures

Abstract

Experiments have been performed on ternary mixtures, consisting of two isotopes and a nonisotopic compound. It is found that the influence of the third compound on the separation of the isotopes cannot always be foreseen, the hardness (R_T value) being of extreme importance.
