Abstract
Supplementation of an adequate basal diet of young [female][female] with certain viable fresh bakers'' yeasts produced, within a period of days, a strikingly low excretion of urinary thiamine. When the fresh yeast was heated to 100[degree] C. before ingestion, the urinary thiamine did not decrease. The thiamine stores were quickly regained by merely discontinuing theyeast f rbm the "basal adequate diet. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
