Abstract
Purified thymonucleic acid prepared from cows" spleens, was hydrolyzed with methanol-HCl or with dilute H2SO4, followed by fractionation and Ba salt pptn. From this, the brucin salt of thymin-desoxyribose-monophosphoric acid was prepared, recrystallized and analyzed.
