Generation of Charge Imbalance in a Superconductor by a Temperature Gradient

Abstract
We predict that a superconductor carrying a supercurrent in a temperature gradient will develop a charge-imbalance voltage proportional to , where is the superfluid velocity. The magnitude of the voltage is estimated.
