Abstract
A study of perinatal and neonatal mortality figures for all 36 810 infants born to Avon residents during 1976-9 reported by year of birth and in relation to birth weight, gestational age, and th presence of lethal malformation showed the need for reporting mortality data for normally formed infants weighing 1000 g or more at birth and for assessing perinatal morbidity as well as mortality when attempting to evaluate the standard of perinatal care and the resources required to provide for it.This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
