Abstract
Emitted protons were observed from foils of Mg, Ni, Cu, Rh, and Pd bombarded with 14-Mev neutrons. Measurements were made of cross sections and energy and angular distributions for protons of energies greater than 5 Mev. The results indicate that a relatively direct interaction between incident neutron and emitted proton is an important process in () reactions in medium-weight nuclei.
